Paper Totals 14 Tons

About 14 tons of paper were collected by 17 Sea Explorers of SES Nauset Saturday and yesterday in Orleans and Brewster.

Skipper Moncrieff Cochran Jr., suggested that persons who were missed, and persons who may have an accumulation of paper before the next collection, should bring it to Orleans High School and put it in the coal bin behind the building instead of taking it to the dump.

A dinner, held for persons who have loaned trucks during the year, was attended by about 60 persons Saturday night in the high school cafeteria.

These included Sea Explorers and committee members, the Mariners and Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. snow, and Mrs. Franklin L. Joy, A. Earl Reed, Mr. and Mrs. Charles O. Thompson, and Mr. and Mrs. R. Bruce Hammatt.

Selectman and Mrs. Lawrence Doyle of Brewster, who also had loaned a truck, were unable to attend.

An investiture ceremony was held during \which Attorney Paul Henson Jr, was invested as 2d mate of SES Nauset. About 18 new Sea Explorers were officially invested.
